  • New construction comes with many advantages. Builder warranties ensure your home will be taken care of for many years to come.

  • The homes are located on the Mesa, an area many see as the best in Santa Barbara. (Read our article about life on the Mesa.)

  • Close to the ocean and Shoreline Park.
  • The Mesa has a great sense of community.

What are the Cons of These Homes on the Mesa?

Why are we mentioning possible negatives? People hire us because they know or have been told we are truthful and trustworthy. That said, what we are saying as potential downsides are subjective. What is a negative to one person may not be for another. Here are our thoughts.

The location may be difficult for some people because it’s next to a school. Some may not want to be so close to a busy street. The homes are somewhat isolated, something that will appeal to some and not others who like a neighborhood vibe. The area is subject to road noise, something one must be aware of no matter where you look and buy.
